“ Great beer selection and a welcoming neighborhood bar. The bartender was very sweet and helpful in choosing some local IPAs to try. The bar area filled up quickly in a Friday afternoon. ”
“ Was there for lunch today. Kara and Tanner were great behind the bar. Service was quick and they both are always friendly. ”
“ Arrived for an early Friday dinner, group of four. Assumed arriving before 5pm there wouldn't be a wait. But we were told 15 minutes. Table opened up quicker. Server was great, all diners loved their food. ”
“ I would say our meal at Winfield Grill was great. We went in on a weeknight and we were met by nice servers, fast service and a fun atmosphere. They were very flexible when we had a baby and needed it add a person to our table. The food came out very hot and very quick. The only hard part of this great spot is finding a parking spot when it is busy. Great place in a great area. ”
“ The Winfield doesn't take reservations, which I like. Tables turn fairly quickly with good service. As others have said, the bar is nearly always busy; know that a full parking lot doesn't necessarily mean a full dining room. The dining room is split into two sections, one with booths and the other with a mix of booths and tables. The bar is good and the wine list is sufficient. Food here is quite solid. There's Rochester Italian American fare available alongside more standard pub food. I've enjoyed the meatballs, beans and greens, linguine and clams, and other items. Sandwiches and burgers are amply sized and good too. The Winfield is a local spot with lots of different ages bumping elbows; personally I really like that. ”
“ I rarely get to Winfield but each time we do, the bar service is great. The holiday drink menu and food menu had a selection where most everyone could find something. Only downside was that the host was managing the booths in the bar area at almost 10pm saying the tables were for food buying customers. There was zero space at the bar and no one was there eating dinner at 10pm. We ended up ordering appetizers so that we wouldn't have to hover behind people sitting at the bar. That was the only downside. Sometimes places have weird rules and we just need to accept that. ”
“ It seemed driving by like a lively spot. I decided to come today. I was promptly seated below a lighted Christmas Wreath. Nice Guinness and Signature Burger. The burger is delicious, huge with a side of Home Potato Chips. I will return for other dishes. ”
